Piston rod seal

Piston rod seal is the same lip seal used for piston seal and rod seal. They are also the most critical seals on any type of hydrodynamic device to prevent fluid leakage from the cylinder to the outside. Leakage through piston or rod seal can degrade equipment performance and, in extreme cases, cause environmental problems.

The seals are designed for sealing piston rods and for differential or plunger pistons relative to the outside. Piston rod seal needs a lot because they need to provide an almost perfect seal under any operating conditions.

In most cases, lip seals, roof seals, and compact seals are used as piston rod seals, and these seals are suitable for the task of providing relative internal sealing. All kinds of sealing materials can be used for this purpose.
