Application

The material of the wear ring/guide ring is PTFE+ copper powder, phenolic cloth. To prevent the cylinder and piston rod from wearing, it has low friction, corrosion resistance, thermal stability, and other excellent characteristics has been widely used as friction, sealing parts, especially in the corrosive medium.

Besides,  this problem is often difficult to be solved by general metal and other non-metal materials. The flexibility and toughness of fluorocarbon resin make it an excellent sealing material. Especially when it is further modified through various fillings and compounded into a plastic alloy with some aromatic resins, higher bearing capacity, thermal and mechanical stability, wear resistance and PV limit value can be obtained.
