PTFE Oil Seals Case Is 304 Or 316 Stainless Steel

PTFE Oil Seals case is 304 or 316 stainless steel, the lip is PTFE with different filler. PTFE with the filler (main filler are: glass fiber, carbon fiber, graphite, molybdenum disulfide) greatly improves the wear resistance of PTFE. The inner wall of the lip is engraved with oil return thread groove, which not only effectively prolongs the life of the oil seal but also increases the upper limit of the rotational speed because of the hydraulic lubrication effect.

Application environment: Resistant to strong acid, strong alkali or strong oxidizer and organic solvent such as toluene, suitable for oil-free self-lubricating environment, food-grade material is suitable for high cleanliness of food and medical products processing environment.

3. Wear reduction: PTFE material friction coefficient is very low, only 0.02, is 1/40 of rubber.

4. Self-lubrication: PTFE material surface has outstanding self-lubrication, almost all sticky substances can not adhere to its surface.

PTFE oil seals installation guide:

1. When installing the seal oil seal through the position with key, the key should be removed first before installing the oil seal.

2. When installing the oil seal, apply oil or lubricant and round off the shaft end and shoulder of the oil seal.

3. When oil seal is put into the seat hole, special tools should be used to push in the oil seal to prevent the oil seal position from being skewed.

4. When installing the oil seal, make sure that the lip end of the oil seal is facing the side of the oil being sealed, and do not assemble the oil seal in reverse.

5. There should be various measures to prevent the damage of the oil seal lip at the thread, keyway, spline, etc., through which the oil seal lip passes, and assemble the oil seal with special tools.

6. No hammering and prying with cone when installing oil seal. The journal of oil seal should be chamfered and burrs should be removed to avoid cutting the lip when installing oil seal.

7. When installing oil seal, apply some oil on the journal and gently press the oil seal in with suitable special tools to prevent the deformation of oil seal. Once the lip of the oil seal is found to be turned over, the oil seal must be removed and reinstalled.

When the oil seal is not elastic enough or the lip is not necessarily worn, the spring ring of the oil seal can be cut short and reinstalled, or the two ends of the spring ring of the oil seal can be lapped to increase the elasticity of the oil seal spring, so as to increase the pressure of the oil seal lip on the journal and improve the sealing of the oil seal.
